Introduction to Acts

After the events of the crucifixion, the disciples found themselves disappointed, lost, and dejected. Only an encounter with Jesus could restore their broken souls. In fashionable form, the resurrected Jesus met the disciples on the shore of Galilee where He fed and restored His broken disciples. One of His final commands to them being “Feed my sheep”. The book of Acts is all about the disciples carrying out this command as they stewarded the New Covenant by the power of the Holy Spirit. Although difficult circumstances would be faced, it is because of the Holy Spirit that the Gospel would spread and the church would grow unhindered.
