Shine Children's Ministry

We want everyone who comes through our doors to know that they are loved by God and can have a personal relationship with Him no matter your age.
We know that raising children to know and love Jesus takes a Village. Our goal is to support families in their pursuit of sharing the gospel by coming alongside them in the discipleship process.
On Sunday mornings, we have four classrooms for school age children and use Life Ways Project Gospel curriculum. It focuses on pointing our children to what Christ did for them on the cross and on having a relationship with God rather than pushing morality.
You can expect an engaging morning of worship music, story time, crafts, and play.

When You Arrive
Head to the Shine Check In Counter in the foyer—our friendly team will get you checked in and ready to go!

If it’s your first time at Village Calvary, don’t worry—we’ve made it simple. Once you’re checked in, someone from our team will walk you to the right classroom.

Classrooms are grouped by age or grade. Parents or guardians drop off and pick up their kids directly in their classrooms. Be sure to keep the tags you receive at check-in—you’ll need them when picking up your child after the service.

Sundays at a Glance

• Check-in opens 10 minutes before each service.
• To kick things off all classes join together for live for worship upstairs in our Shine Worship Room.
• Afterward, kids head to their classrooms for a lesson and craft.

Our Team
Every volunteer and leader is thoroughly trained, carefully vetted, and most importantly—called. We believe God has uniquely gifted each of them to love children and lead them in the truth of Jesus Christ.
